June 1, 2009 : Jamestown Town Hall Civic Center - 6:00pm - Community Meeting - presentation by two candidates for the Master Renovation Plan for the James town Golf Course.

 

**June 15, 2009 : Jamestown Town Hall Civic Center - 7:00pm - Tips on Retail Retention , Speaker Bob Murphrey - This event is a partnership by Town of Jamestown and the Jamestown Business Association - **each JBA member is asked to make or bring a refreshment - Please contact Martha Wolfe at Town Hall, 454-1138, or mwolfe@jamestown-nc.gov with the item you will bring.

 

June 25, 2009 : Jamestown Business Association lunch meeting, 12:00pm at the Jamestown Park Grill - A reminder and RSVP notice will be sent about 2 weeks prior to the meeting, so mark your calendars.

 

July 4, 2009 : Jamestown Lions Club 4th of July Parade - JBA will place our float in the parade, whic starts at 10:00am on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Please mark your calendar for this event. We will need to schedule a float decorating party prior to the parade.

 

July 18, 2009 : Village fair Day - Mendenhall PLantation - 10am - 4:00pm

 

August 15, 2009 : "Jamestown Swings" - Casey Mott attended the JBA meeting. There is a volunteer group organizing the event to promote Jamestown. This event will take place Saturday, August 15, 2009, which is the Saturday before the Windam PGA golf tournament. While plans are not concrete, things look good for a street festival to be held on Gannaway Street. Preliminary time is 3:00pm - 8:00 pm. The Jamestown Swings group needs volunteers from JBA.
