Grant Application

Who is eligible?

Organizations seeking funding must be a non-profit organization serving the youth of Greater Jamestown.   Any individual who benefits from a gift by the JBA such as receiving a scholarship must be a resident of Jamestown.

How are funds awarded?

Funds are granted on an annual basis in the fall of each year, based on the merit and availability of funds, judged by the members of the Jamestown Business Association (JBA).   As a general rule, the JBA does not fund Capital Projects or Debt Reduction Campaigns, but it is also highly recommended that requests be made for special projects rather than annual campaigns.  Organizations that have not received funding from the JBA previously are only eligible to receive a first time grant of $100.  After that, they are eligible to receive more.   The JBA also does not make multi-year pledges.  An application must be submitted every year.

When is the deadline for application?

Applications are due by September each year.
